The Class 395 started service in 2009 for the transport of the public to and from London St Pancras to Kent via High Speed 1 (HS1) which Eurostar uses to go to France and Belgium and there future hopes to go further afield.
The Class 395 were built by Hitachi and there signalling by Alstom. The Class 395 runs on High Speed 1 (HS1) at 200 km/h 125 Mph and when running late they go at there top speed of 225 km/h 140 mph.
Southeastern drivers say they swear by them and that it is the best train England has had in a long time.
